Join the Hyde Creek Watershed Society for a tour to discover salmon and the Hyde Creek Hatchery and its role in conserving and feeding salmon. Event includes a craft.
There are ‘No Parking’ restrictions on both sides of Coast Meridian Road adjacent to the Education Centre & Hatchery. Alternative parking may be found at the following locations:
Lincoln Drive (North-East of Coast Meridian)
Laurier Avenue (East of Coast Meridian)
Hyde Creek Recreation Centre on Laurier Ave – then a short walk (west) along PoCo trail to the Education Centre & Hatchery.

Join Douglas College Institute of Urban Ecology for a look at birds that are common in the Lower Mainland and how they have adapted to different niches. This workshop includes creating nesting bags or bird boxes for participants to keep.
