At NatureKids BC, we believe that all have a right to experience the joy of getting outside to learn and connect.. Equitable access to nature creates more connections and stronger families and communities.

As of 2023, all family memberships are FREE! This is one step towards creating more inclusion and access to quality time in nature for families and children.

We invite families with children ages 5-12 to join us in nature!

Family Membership

  • One whole year of access to free family activities through our Explorer Days, which are fun-packed opportunities to learn about the natural world and participate in stewardship and citizen science projects.
  • A Passport to Nature, where your children can track their adventures with NatureKids and receive a prize after attending six events.
  • A one-year subscription to our full colour quarterly magazine, NatureWILD, which is filled with informative articles, games and activities.
  • Bird ID card for your region.
  • A monthly e-newsletter to keep you up to date with NatureKids news and events.
  • Please be sure to include your mailing address and children’s names and ages when you sign up so we can send your children their membership package. Explore nature with us!​

  • A one-year subscription to our full-colour quarterly magazine, NatureWILD, which is filled with informative articles and ideas for engaging children out in nature.
  • A monthly e-newsletter to keep you up to date with NatureKids news and events.
  • Please include your mailing address in your sign up form so we can send you your membership package. ​
