October Explorer Day RSVP: Smells good! Coast Salish Pit Cook at Fort Rodd Hill
While these treats have already been spoken for, the Songhees Seafood and & Steam food truck will also be on site all day offering a range of delicious Coast Salish inspired menu items for purchase.
WHEN: Saturday, October 13th, 9:45am to 11:45am
The event runs from 10am to 4pm, with a traditional welcome at 10am. There will be dancing, storytelling and activity stations throughout the day. Please come by 9:45am so you don’t miss the traditional welcome!
WHERE: Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Sites in Colwood. Meet at the Coast Salish carved archway that marks the entrance of the Garry Oak Learning Meadow.

OTHER DETAILS & COST:
– Please leave pets at home- they are not permitted in the park.
– Regular admission fees to the site will apply, $3.90 for adults (18+) and $3.40 for seniors. Children & youth (17 & under) get in for free.
