November 4, 2017 @ 3:30 am - 5:30 am PDT

Please join in the upcoming Explorer Day on urban forestry. We will learn from nature mentors,Cindy Cheng and Sara Barron, how climate change will have an impact on our neighbourhoods and forests. This explorer day discusses causes and impacts of climate change and how they might effect our local forests. Walking through Pacific Spirit Regional Park, we will play a fun game to help remember the names of local trees and talk about how climate change might impact how they grow.
We will meet at the University Hill Elementary school parking loop, 5395 Chancellor Blvd. Please come prepared for the weather of the day as we’ll still meet even if there’s rain!
