Art in Nature
Our next in-person Explorer Day will be Sunday, November 8 at 1:30pm. We will meet at the picnic shelter at Crescent Valley Beach Regional Park. This month we are going to create some amazing works of art! Local artist Jaimie MacGibbon will be our nature mentor for a fun afternoon exploring the colours and shapes in nature.
CLICK HERE for the registration form. Registration is required so we can bring the right amount of art supplies for everyone. Due to covid spaces are limited.
This event is open to members of NatureKids BC, and anyone attending an Explorer Day event for the first time. Priority is given to members, but non-members can attend if there is space. Please email us with any questions.

Explorer Day Etiquette:

  • Be prepared to HAVE FUN!
  • Pre-registration with your Club Leader is required for most Explorer Days (Friends are welcome if space permits).
  • Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the scheduled start time to ensure enough time for passport stamping and organization. Starting times are firm, and Leaders cannot wait for late-comers!
  • Please stay with the Leader and let them know if you are leaving early.
  • Children must always be accompanied by an adult guardian, who is responsible for their behaviour. Children consistently disrupting the experience of others may be asked to leave.
  • Bring appropriate weather gear, sunscreen, snacks, water, and other useful tools like binoculars, sketch books, cameras, and magnifying glasses.
