Explorer Day Highlight #3 – Young Naturalists Take Action for Garry Oaks!

Young Naturalists explore and step up for nature during Club Explorer Day adventures.

Last June, the YNC Cowichan Weekend Club spent a
day planting young Garry Oak trees at Cowichan Garry Oak Preserve, a
52-acre conservation area on Southern Vancouver Island and home to
one of the last and best remnants of Garry Oak ecosystems.  These young
naturalists were really making a difference!

If you want your kids to make a difference, but aren’t a member yet, make sure to sign up here!
