Every issue features a range of articles by BC’s leading naturalists, as well as games, nature activities, step-by-step drawing instructions, contests, quizzes, “Ask Al” column, nature news from young naturalists from across the province, stories and poems.

NatureWILD Magazine for Schools

For our school members, each issue of NatureWILD magazines comes with an accompanying Curriculum Connections guide linking NatureWILD’s content to the BC curriculum and helping teachers meet cross-curricular learning outcomes. School members receive their digital copy in our quarterly newsletter that goes out shortly after NatureWILD arrives at your doorstep.

You can access the full copy of a recent Curriculum Connections guide here.

A very special thank you to volunteer Frances McCoubrey, Cariboo Chilcotin School District 27 for her ongoing work on the NatureKids Curriculum Connections, and the following volunteers for co-authoring the fall issue:

Victor Elderton, retired teacher  and  past Principal of the Cheakamus Centre
 Brian Herrin, retired teacher
Kate Keogh, BC certified teacher
